"Last December, Imogen made my family Christmas cake. It was a pretty last-minute request, so I was very grateful when she agreed to bake one for me. I left the recipe and the decoration up to her, with one request to replace candied peel with something else. She suggested dried apricots, which was an excellent alternative. The cake was absolutely delicious - moist and fruity, with a good layer of marzipan (which I love) and smooth soft icing. It was beautifully decorated with white, bronze and gold holly leaves, and glittery pine cones. It only lasted a couple of weeks into January, which is unheard of in my house (I’ve sometimes had Christmas cake hanging around until March!). I will definitely use Imogen’s Kitchen again, and look forward to trying more of her delicious creations."

"We were hesitant at first because the company was so new, but we are so glad we hired them. We had an incredible array of dips and canapés, four savoury and two sweet, and everything Imogen's Kitchen made us was delicious. My personal favourite was either the Truffle Figs and Gorgonzola, or the Mini Yorkshire Puds with an incredible horseradish cream - I can't decide! My boyfriend's favourite was the Cauliflower Fritters. Our friends raved about the incredible food for ages after the party - with Imogen's Kitchen's canapés, we have apparently 'raised the bar' on drinks parties! We'll definitely be using them again."

"Imogen was highly professional from the word go and was an absolute delight to have around. Her duties included preparing and clearing breakfast, lunch and dinner for a household of 14 guests. In addition to this, she was solely in charge of shopping, menu planning, keeping weekly accounts and anything ‘kitchen-oriented’. Imogen’s cooking was delicious and with such a large number of guests (including fussy teenagers) she managed to keep everybody happy. She was always calm and smiley and nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept the kitchen spotlessly clean at all times and cleared everything away after all meals. I can’t recommend Imogen highly enough - she fitted in perfectly with our family and if she’s available next summer, we would love to have her back!"
