“Imogen joined us for a week in the Scottish Highland recently and we could not have asked for a better chef. The food she made was consistently excellent and always suited to a big, mixed group with different tastes and appetites; she changed around any number of lunches and dinners as our plans shifted with absolute grace and flexibility; and she instilled a sense of both order (quite how she managed all the timings and an unfailingly tidy kitchen I will never know!) and fun into everything she did. ​"Imogen was highly professional from the word go and was an absolute delight to have around. Her duties included preparing and clearing breakfast, lunch and dinner for a household of 14 guests. In addition to this, she was solely in charge of shopping, menu planning, keeping weekly accounts and anything ‘kitchen-oriented’. Imogen’s cooking was delicious and with such a large number of guests (including fussy teenagers) she managed to keep everybody happy. She was always calm and smiley and nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept the kitchen spotlessly clean at all times and cleared everything away after all meals. I can’t recommend Imogen highly enough - she fitted in perfectly with our family and if she’s available next summer, we would love to have her back!"

Everything Imogen made for us over the course of the week was delicious and always beautifully presented. She is calm under pressure, tremendously well organised, accommodating with last minute changes and a pleasure to have around.  Everyone staying with us was thrilled to have such gorgeous food all week - something that the musicians said was so unusual during festivals and hugely appreciated."

Nothing was too much hassle and the food came with the most impressively clear and helpful instructions for a non-cook like me. “Imogen’s Kitchen catered for our wedding in central London and the team were brilliant. Imogen offered real flexibility with the menu choice and a generous tasting session to refine choices. Throughout the planning of the wedding she was on hand to offer us advice and never left us waiting long for her answers. We thought her pricing was absolutely fair but without infringing on the quality of the catering.On the day itself everything went as smoothly as possible. Throughout the day we had a lot of interaction with the front of house staff such as the floor manager and bar staff given that they were more visible than the kitchen team, and they were great fun and keen to make the day according to plan which was really reassuring. We were really happy with the food too, both the quality and the generous portions, and we’ve had lots of positive feedback there.Timings are so key to a wedding and we felt that Imogen and her staff really nailed that for us – the energy levels of our guests didn’t appear to dip throughout the day thanks in large part to Imogen and her team keeping them feed/topped up and working so well on the timings.We would definitely use Imogen’s Kitchen again (if only we had another party to plan!) and will continue to highly recommend her.
